Affiliate Marketing: 3 Steps to Free Targeted Traffic!

Affiliate Marketing: 3 Steps to Free Targeted Traffic!
By: Robin Araoz

Have you ever tried to promote a website without traffic?

Sure, is sound like stupid question, but reality is that

without traffic, you will not get visitors. And without visitors, you will not make money, sales, get subscribers, etc.

So, What good is a website without any traffic? And if the site is getting traffic, what good is it if it is not targeted traffic?

There are many ways to drive traffic to your site, both free and paid. But we are going to talk about the one you probably love the most: Free Targeted Traffic.

So, let us go back to 3 different free traffic systems available:

1)Search Engine Optimization

2)Surfing for traffic

3)Getting it passively

1)Search Engine Optimization (SEO):

SEO takes time and a lot of work. It works really great when you know how to do it, but if you go after this one, I recommend you to learn from 3 guys online, and believe me, they know what they are talking about, just go to google and search for:

Brad Fallon

Andy Jenkins

or, Brad Callen

I recommend you take a look for Brad Callen´s free seo guide, you will find it somewhere out there in cyberspace and it is called: "Search engine made easy".

2)Surfing for traffic

When you join sites that are surf for traffic sites, you have to look at other members' sites in order to earn advertising credits for your site to be displayed when another member is surfing.

The only problem with this is that although the traffic is free, it is not targeted.

Everyone who is a member only surfs for the credit and very rarely and y mean rarely even looks at the site, they just minimize their window on their PC and multi-task. So, the traffic in most cases is crap and worthless.

3)Getting it passively

Now, let us talk about the best way to get free targeted traffic. It is called Instant Buzz. Instant Buzz is a service that gives you advertising credits as you surf the web like you normally would.

What you do is download the toolbar for free, it only takes a minute. Then, you set up your ads in the members area. And bam, you ads are being displayed on other members' tool bars as they surf.

You can also put Instant Buzz ads in emails that you send to your friends. These are called mail space ads.

And your ad will get displayed in other members' emails. The last thing you can do is put a hyperspace ad on your website which will help you refer other members.

When you refer other members, you will also get a percentage of the credits they earn which will go towards your ad credits.

If someone likes your ad and is interested in what it says, then they click on it and end up on whatever site it was that you were promoting. Now that's targeted traffic! And it was free.

You decide what to use, and remember if it is free, well, why not?...

Fight the Exam Stress

Fight the Exam Stress
By: Susan Kassel

Our life always offers us to take different exams - some or other kinds of trials, where we have to prove our competence, our well being, our determination and our IQ.
Student having to submit his philosophy term paper; surgeon operating for the first time, unemployed, who came for the interview to his potential employer – all of them have the symptoms of the exam stress.

If you are a student, there is no need for me to explain what exam stress is.  Sleepless nights, troubled thoughts, loss of appetite, rapid pulse, trembling hands - these are typical manifestations of exam fear. Recent research has shown that it affects all the systems of the human body: nervous, immune, cardiovascular, etc. The scientists from Houston Medical School proved in the course of their research that exam fear increases the possibility of cancer.

Unfortunately, the negative influence of this phenomenon on the students’ body and their psychology is underestimated nowadays. Social polls demonstrate that students perceive the exams as a “duel of questions and answers”, as a “severe torture” as “intellectual and emotional overload”. Writing term papers (e. g psychology term paper) most of them compare with “killing their time“.

Yes, exams are important for you as their results influence   your social status, your self –esteem, grants, your further perspectives of study and probably your future professional career. Such factors as long awaiting of the exam, some uncertainty when taking your exam card ( it is like sink or swim ) and tough limit of time  for your preparation maximize emotional tension. Some foreign and native scientists, having studied this area thoroughly have concluded that from psycho hygienic position exams are undesirable and they should be cancelled. At the same time there is quite opposite point of view, stating that exams stimulate brain activity and increase cognitive and mental activity. American psychologist Sarazon determined that those students who are afraid of exam can considerably improve their achievements and even outdo those who are not scared of them.

The only necessary thing for it – is the encouraging attitude of the professors – they should strengthen students’ self-confidence. Surely, praise must prevail over scolding. Only then the exams are useful.

Every person has own optimal level of worry and anxiety, which helps him/ her to achieve the best results. You must learn how to control your stress and extra anxiety to graduate from the university as a healthy person. I hope that these small tips will be of practical help to you and you will forget what exam stress is in the negative meaning of the word.

If exams cause great worry, if you have some symptoms of exam stress (insomnia, rapid pulse, hands trembling and so on) you ought to do something about it. Use breath meditations, repeat formulas of autosuggestion, imagine the picture of ideal exam atmosphere. You also should take three relaxing sessions and reduce the level of stressful tension (a day before the exam, before leaving home for university and half an hour before the exam).

Students: 5 Ways to Improve Your Memory

Students: 5 Ways to Improve Your Memory
By: Preeti Narayan

“Oh God, tomorrow is exam! Will I remember what I have studied?” This fear haunts many students. Now, don’t fear friend. You can remember what you study. Provided, you use those study methods that help your brain to remember better.

Here are five ‘Brain-friendly’ study methods that help to improve your memory and remember your study lessons easily:

1. Study with short breaks: Take short breaks while studying. Do not study continuously for more than 30 to 45 minutes. Give a break of five to ten minutes in between two sessions. Such short breaks give rest to your brain and help it to reinforce what you are learning. This will make it easy for you to understand more and remember better. Do not read any new information during these short breaks. Just relax or walk around.

2. Explain to yourself: Explain what you've study to yourself. Pretend you are both the student and the teacher, and try to explain the chapter or study topic to yourself. This kind of ‘explaining’ automatically helps you to learn the subject in detail. Hence you will remember it clearly.

3. Discuss: Discuss important study topics with a willing classmate. Holding such discussion will jog your memory. This is like another form of revision. Also, you will become aware of important points about those study topics. This will help both you and your classmate to learn more and remember more.

4. Sleep: Well Yes, sleep cosily. Good sleep is essential for good memory. Recent research has shown that lack of sufficient sleep interferes with memory function. Because during sleep and rest period, our brain processes and consolidates information which it records during the day. So do not skip sleep; especially during the exam days. Sleep for at least six hours. Eight hours is best.

5. Eat: Well Now, what has eating got to do with remembering more? Simple. What we eat affects our brain’s performance. Poor nutrition leads to learning and memory problems. So make sure you include nutrient-rich food items like--whole grains, nuts, fruits, vegetables, and milk in your diet. This will keep your brain healthy and happy. The above five remedies are easy to follow. They definitely help to strengthen your memory and achieve more success in your studies.

7 Tips On Creating Your Own Time Management System

7 Tips On Creating Your Own Time Management System
By: Eric Garner

When you use a time management system to reach your goals, you increase your chances of achieving exactly what you want. Here are the 7 steps and tips you need to take.

1. Set Your Mission. The starting point of any goal-achievement is to think about your mission or purpose. What is the point of it all? A mission goes much further than just a goal. It is about manifesting your own values, creating something unique, and becoming all you, and your team if you are working with one, can become. As Steven Covey said: "A mission statement focuses on what you want to be (character), and to do (contributions and achievements) and on the values and principles upon which being and doing are based."
Tip: Start by writing down on one sheet of paper the things that are important to you in going for this particular goal.

2. Pick Your Key Areas. The gap between dreaming a mission and achieving it is to break the mission down into key areas that you need to work on. For example, if your aim is to become fit, the key areas could be: Exercise; Diet; Sleep; Lifestyle; and Relaxation. When you have identified your key areas, then you need to spend time finding out about each one of these. This research and information-gathering goes on for the whole length of your journey towards your goal.
Tip: Stick to no more than 5 or 6 key areas.

3. Write Down Your SMART Goals. SMART goals are goals that are defined as: Specific; Measurable; Achievable; Realistic; and Time-bounded. For example, if you are planning to lose weight, you could define your goal as: Lose 10lbs; check each week on the scales; it's just within my reach; and take action now and at regular intervals when the time is right.
Tip: Distinguish between SMART goals which have deadlines and Big goals that don't. Follow the 5 steps outlined above to reach your SMART goals by going from now forwards. Dream about your Big goals which have no fixed deadlines by going from their realization in your imagination backwards.

4. Jot Down To-Do Lists. If you are working in a number of key areas, with a range of SMART goals in each of them, you could have as many as 15 ongoing activities at any one time. For example, in our example of getting fit, you might be exercising, dieting, changing your lifestyle, and taking time out to relax. Keeping an occasional to-do list is a way to review all of these activities and keep them at the forefront of your mind.
Tip: Alec McKenzie recommends writing out to-do lists every evening and then working through them the following day.

5. Prioritise Your To-Do List. There are two ways to prioritise the activities on your to-do list. You can decide if they are urgent or if they are important. Urgent tasks are those that have a deadline to them. They are also tasks that we want to do because the time is right or feels right, ie we're in the mood. Important tasks are those that you believe will bring you quickest to your goals. Tasks that are both urgent and important are the ones you should devote time to. Tasks that are not both of these can be relegated down your to-do list or delegated to somebody else.
Tip: You must be ruthless about tasks that are neither important nor urgent and dump them.

6. Schedule Your Tasks. It is much better to schedule tasks than leave them to be done when you feel like it. For example, you are much more likely to exercise regularly if you do it at a set time each day. One of the best scheduling systems is the 60-20-20 system. This means filling up 60% of your diary with your important tasks and leaving 20% for things that crop up and 20% for emergencies.

Tip: Use the luggage-hold method when planning your diary. This means putting the biggest tasks in your diary first and then fitting the smaller ones around them. Just like the way you put luggage in the boot of your car.

7. Check As You Go. A time management system should be a living, dynamic system rather than a dull, repetitive one cast in concrete. That's why you should inject into your system room for surprises, room for learning, and room for doing what you enjoy. In this way, you'll not only like the system, you'll achieve your goals much more quickly than you thought possible at the start.

Tip: Why not create your version of the Daruma doll, an image of an Indian prince that Asian executives use to chart their goal progress? When you set your goals, you colour the prince's eyes white. When a goal is achieved you colour them in.

Follow these 7 steps on all your goal-achievement work and you'll astonish yourself at how reaching your goals becomes second nature to you.

Living Your Best Life

Living Your Best Life
By: Lisa Brown

The starting point of mental toughness is genuine self-awareness.

To the serious student, there is only one real book to study: the manuscript that you, yourself, are.

Knowing yourself means understanding where your negative emotions come from.

THE SOURCE OF ALL NEGATIVE EMOTIONS

If you observe yourself carefully, you will see that all your negative emotions come from one source: not getting what you want.

Anger is desire contaminated by helplessness. Fear is a desire for the future contaminated by helplessness.

Sadness is rage at being attached to a desire we cannot fulfill. Grief is extreme sadness; disappointment is a milder form of grief.

In fact, all negative emotions are a variation of this theme.

This is why many people feel stressed out these days: they are not taking their desires seriously enough.

They say things like, "My job doesn't matter to me. I'm just going to get a job that pays the bills." Then they spend 8 hours a day doing things they don't want to do.

This is a recipe for feeling negatively all the time, and it is definitely not for you.

LIVING YOUR BEST LIFE

Now that you know how your emotions work, you can use this knowledge to live your best life.

If all negative emotions come from NOT getting what you want, I suggest you arrange your life so you get what you want as often as possible.

WHAT DO YOU WANT?

First, write down what you want. Be specific.

If you want to make more money, write down how much. If want a promotion, describe the job you want in detail.

If you want to improve a relationship, record exactly how you want to change it.

This is called goal-setting, and most people never get beyond this step.

In fact, only 3% of the population has clear, written goals with an action plan to achieve them displayed in their home. And, it is the top 3%, at least in financial terms.

Most people do not set goals because they fear failure. This is natural.

However, the only way to guarantee failure in your life is to do nothing.

The wonderful thing about goal-setting is that it mobilizes your conscious and unconscious energies towards your objectives.

I urge you to write down at least 3 goals that are important to you. Then, promise yourself that you will take action towards them within 7 days.

I'll talk to you again soon.

Your friend,
Lisa

Rejection, Fear, and Dating

By: Devlyn Steele

Single again? As we travel through life, we often end up single. There are many reasons why. It could be the result of meeting the wrong person, death, cheating, lies, divorce, location, goals, and more. Losing a relationship impacts us in many ways. It can be very painful, or it can be very refreshing, or anywhere in-between. No matter what the cause or the degree of pain, there is one truth we all share: We don’t want to end up alone. We want to find companionship.

In order to get into a new relationship, we have to be willing to meet and go out with people. It’s our own fear, however, that often gets in the way.

× We fear getting rejected.

× We fear having a bad time.

× We fear getting hurt.

× We fear having to reject someone else.

All these fears are valid yet easily overcome. If someone rejects you, it only means that that person feels you are not right for them. Believe me, there is someone else who would love to be with you. You have to accept rejection. It is only through trying do we get to the right person.

Many dates and relationships don’t work out. You may look back and think of it as a bad time. It is all right to have a bad time. Only through bad dates do we get to the good dates. It is through our bad relationships that we have the opportunity to learn more about ourselves and what we want, to then approach relationships with more knowledge to succeed.

No one wants to get hurt but if we do not dare to fall in love and get hurt, we cannot be in love. Getting hurt is part of the process. We do get through it and the pain does go away. The best part is there is new love waiting for you.

You may also be fearful of rejecting someone. The truth is no one is obligated to stay with someone who isn’t right for them. Rejection is part of the dating and relationship process.

Change how you look at rejection and see it as a favor. When you reject someone you are releasing him or her to go find someone who will truly appreciate that person. Look at it that way also when someone rejects you. After all, do you really want to be with someone who doesn’t want you? It’s better to be free to find someone who actually wants to be with you.

Can you predict the future? I can’t. In fact, most of us don’t think we can. Yet we continue to believe in self-limiting thoughts about the future. We believe so firmly in these thoughts we allow them to stop us from moving forward and realizing opportunities.

Instead of predicting pain, I can predict for you that if you embrace the dating process instead of watching life pass you by, you will have both good and bad times. I can also predict that these good and bad times will lead you to even better times.

Embrace the journey and release your fear.
